Mohsin Dawar, a former lawmaker and National Democratic Movement (NDM) leader, was attacked on his vehicle in Miranshah, North Waziristan, on Wednesday. The incident occurred during his election campaign. Unknown gunmen targeted Dawar’s vehicle, but he escaped unharmed due to the bulletproof of the vehicle.

As per reports multiple bullets were fired at his vehicle’s rear mirror by the assailants. Mohsin Dawar was moved to a nearby safe location after the attack.
The National Democratic Movement (NDM) has strongly condemned the attack and demanded an immediate investigation, expressing concern about the security situation in Waziristan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Bushra Gohar, an NDM founding member, strongly condemned the attack and demanded an immediate investigation.

Afrasiab Khattak, a senior leader of the National Democratic Movement, also strongly condemned the terrorist attack on NDM Chairman Mohsin Dawar, posted that it was part of the political engineering by the Deep State.
